ABOUT
Amy Gadney (b 1972) is an interdisciplinary artist, based in London.
Her abstract art work involves a close engagement with found materials to discover new sensations of life and meaning.
Gadney mixes painting, assemblage and collage. Instead of a blank canvas, she works with unlikely, obscure surfaces that are not usually intended to be ‘art’, materials with a pre-existing personality or history that inspire her instinctive process.
